Korvosa Staffords

Baby Dogs!
Who doesn’t love Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppies? While we agree that they’re absolutely adorable, we do not have puppies available year-round, nor do we produce multiple litters annually. If you are interested in being considered for a future puppy, we encourage you to submit a completed application. Our website provides insight into who we are, and the application allows us to learn more about you. Once we receive your application, we’ll be in touch to discuss whether we’re the right match for one another, both in terms of you as a potential puppy owner and us as your chosen breeder.
Becoming a Member of the Korvosa Family
Like our adult dogs, our puppies are, first and foremost, beloved members of our family. Our priority is always their well-being. For this reason, we do not operate on a “first come, first served” basis. Families interested in being considered for one of our puppies must first submit a completed application. Once received, we will contact you to address any questions or concerns, ensure you are well-informed about the breed, and discuss what each member of your household hopes for in a future companion.
When we evaluate a potential family for a Korvosa puppy, we look for thoughtful preparation and a genuine commitment to responsible ownership. A potential family should demonstrate in their application that they have researched the breed thoroughly and understand its temperament, exercise requirements, grooming needs, and long-term care. We also expect them to have considered how they will handle emergencies, such as unexpected veterinary expenses, changes in living arrangements, or medical situations, and whether they have a reliable support system in place.
Additionally, we assess whether the family has the time and lifestyle necessary to meet a Stafford’s daily needs, including training, socialization, mental stimulation, and exercise. These factors, along with other indicators of stability and readiness, help us ensure that each Korvosa puppy is placed in a safe, suitable, and loving home.
If, after these discussions, we mutually determine that a Stafford is an appropriate fit for your family, we will invite you to meet with us in person. Families are placed on our waitlist after meeting with us in person. Upon us meeting and being approved for our waitlist, you will be kept informed of our breeding plans and notified when we have a litter confirmed. Please note that families must be able to pick up their puppy in person, as we do not ship under any circumstance.

Build Connections
To help foster a sense of community, we maintain a private Facebook group exclusively for Korvosa puppy families. The group provides a space for owners to share updates, photos, training accomplishments, and special milestones, as well as arrange meet-ups and connect with others who share a love for the breed.
It is a wonderful way to celebrate the successes of our Korvosa dogs and maintain lasting relationships within our extended Korvosa family.
Promoting Ongoing Training
Training and socialization are lifelong commitments that begin the moment a puppy comes home. We encourage all puppy families to participate in structured puppy classes and ongoing training programs that utilize positive, reward-based methods to build confidence, strengthen the human-canine bond, and develop reliable manners in real-world situations.
Our puppies are raised using Puppy Culture protocols, receiving early socialization, enrichment, and foundational training before leaving for their new homes. However, this early investment is only the beginning. We expect our puppy families to continue exposing their dogs to a variety of people, environments, and experiences while maintaining consistent training throughout the dog's life. We are always available to assist in training, whether that be in person sessions, or via video calls.
We strongly promote the Canine Good Neighbour (CGN) certificate program to all puppy families. The Canine Good Neighbour Program is a non-competitive evaluation developed by the Canadian Kennel Club that promotes responsible dog ownership and recognizes dogs that demonstrate good manners in everyday situations. Dogs are assessed on a variety of practical skills, including accepting a friendly stranger, walking politely on leash, remaining under control around distractions, and behaving appropriately in public settings. Many trainers offer CGN prep classes to help families and their dog prepare for the test. We will reimburse the cost of the evaluation for any puppy family who's Korvosa dog successfully earns their CGN certificate.
Whether a puppy becomes a show dog, sport competitor or simply a cherished family companion, our goal is for every Korvosa Stafford to be a well-trained, well-socialized ambassador for the breed.
