Baby Dogs!

Who doesn't love Stafford puppies? While we think baby Staffords are adorable, we do not have puppies readily available nor do we have numerous litters per year. If you are interested in purchasing a puppy, please submit a completed application. Our website tells you a bit about us, the application tells us a bit about you. From there, we can begin a discussion whether or not you're a good fit for us as a puppy buyer, and whether we're a good fit for you as a breeder.

New to the Breed?

Prior to filling out an application, please ensure you've read The Breed section of this website to have a better understanding of Staffords. We want to be sure a Stafford is the right fit for you, your family and your lifestyle!

Upcoming Litter - 2024

Update: On July 17, we were blessed with 6 beautiful puppies. Mom and pups are doing very well, the puppies are growing fast each day. We currently have no openings available.

We are very excited to be expecting our first litter! This pairing is between our dogs, Watson and Weiss with puppies going home mid September. Both parents are health tested, and titled in conformation and various dog sports. We expect this litter to be high drive/lots of energy. This litter would be perfect for the active family, or someone interested in getting into dog sports, such as obedience and agility. We do not take deposits on puppies, as we do not want potential puppy owners feeling obligated to take a puppy if they get cold feet (no hard feelings!). Please remember we cannot control the size of the litter and that puppies will be temperament tested to ensure they go to the right family for them. We do not have plans for another litter this year.

Questions? We have Answers!

Do I have to fill out an application to purchase a puppy?

Yes! Please submit a completed application online. Keep in mind that submitting an application is only the first step in the process and is not confirmation that you are on the wait list for a puppy. We will want to connect with you to first, and also need to make sure we have a puppy suitable for your family.

Do you recommend any other breeders?

Absolutely. I recommend breeders who I know health test, do not breed blues, and title their dogs, focusing on temperament, structure and health. In BC, I only recommend RiiseStaff, Rustik Staffords and Distaff Staffords. If you are considering dogs in other provinces, please contacts me and I will happily help you connect with other Canadian breeders.

Do you sell blue puppies?

No, and we never will. Backyard breeders have scammed innocent people into believing that this is a desirable colour and/or rare. Let me be very clear, no reputable breeder will ever purposely breed for blue because blue dogs are not born within the standard. In addition, backyard breeders have poorly bred blues for so long that it is not uncommon to see them with Colour Dilute Alopecia and/or allergies. Not to mention that these breeders rarely health test, and certainly are not seen proving their breeding stock in either shows or trials. Many of the blue breeders will try sound fancy by saying the blues are imported. Imported, and reputable kennels, do not go hand in hand. If you truly love the breed, you will not support a breeder who purposely produces blue puppies and/or breeds blue dogs, especially blue x blue pairings.

Do you Ship Puppies?

You will have to pick up the puppy yourself as the puppy would be too young to fly alone for our comfort, plus, we want to meet you too!

I just want a pet, not a show/sports dog.

Fabulous! Ours dogs are wonderful family pets first and foremost! You will not move up or down on a wait list just because you do/dont want to show or trial. But if you ever want to give it a try, we are happy to help!

What type of relationship can I expect from you, as a breeder?

As a responsible breeder, it is our job to support and mentor all puppy owners, including in emergencies. Call us day or night; if we aren't available we will get back to you as soon as we can. Furthermore, if, for any reason you cannot keep your Korvosa puppy/dog, it should come back to us. We do not want our dogs being passed from home to home, or ending up in a shelter. On that note, all Korvosa puppies will have us down as a secondary contact on their microchip as a back up.

I want to try showing and/or trialing, but I don't know where to start!

Don't you worry! We are more than happy to help you learn the ropes of dogs sports and shows! We have met many wonderful friends by showing and trialing, the community on the island is truly amazing. You would be welcomed with open arms.

Are puppies registered with the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC)?

Yes! All puppies will be registered with the Canadian Kennel Club and will be sold on Limited Registration and a contract, unless otherwise agreed upon.

Can I meet your dogs?

Absolutely! We are happy to meet with you whether you are considering a Stafford from us or not.

Can I purchase two puppies from the same litter?

Littermate syndrome develops when two puppies from the same litter, or two puppies close in age, are raised together. So what is Littermate Syndrome? It includes multiple types of unwanted behaviours, including a dependency on each other, difficulty bonding with humans and other animals, aggression, separation anxiety, and reduced independence in training. As we want the best for our puppies, we will not put two from the same litter, in the same home.

Can I pick my puppy?

As our puppies are temperament tested, and we have known the puppies' for their whole life, they will be placed with the family that is most suitable for them.  You will not be picking your puppy, but of course, if you decide the puppy we pick isn't suitable for you, no hard feelings but we will go our separate ways.
