This application is comprehensive and requires thoughtful, honest, and detailed responses. The information you provide helps us better understand your family, lifestyle, expectations, training experience, and overall suitability for one of our puppies.

If you are unsure about a question or don't know how to answer, please be honest. Your response will not be held against you. We're always happy to educate and guide prospective families; however, we do expect you to have done basic research on the breed.

Our priority is placing each puppy in a home that aligns with our values and standards for responsible dog ownership.

Submitting this application does not mean you are on the waitlist. Once it is received, we will touch base, typically within a month. After chatting, we may invite you to meet with us as the next step to get on our waitlist!

What attracts you to our program over other breeders?

Our puppies are placed with families based on their temperament (Volhard temperament tested) and the families expectations in their next dog. Families don't pick their puppy, but may choose not to purchase the puppy we offered them. Do you understand?

Do you understand that all puppies are sold on a contract, which includes breeding and rehoming restrictions? Furthermore, all families must meet us in person before being approved for the waitlist.

What do you expect from a breeder?

No expectations, I just want a puppy.

Health is important to me, the breeder should health test to the Orthopedic Foundation of Animals standard.

Temperament and structure are important, the breeder should prove their breeding dogs are sound by trialing and showing.

I would like help getting involved in dog sports and/or dog shows.

Vet care is expensive. Dentals cost roughly $2k, ligament injuries over $8k, blockages over $10k. How do you plan to pay for emergency vet care?
